Bihar Agricultural University Courses & Admission

Under Bihar Agricultural University Admission, the university offers an undergraduate course in two disciplines with a duration of 4 years or 8 semesters, namely B.Sc. in Agriculture and Horticulture while at the postgraduate level, it provides 2 years or 4 semesters carrying an M.Sc. Agriculture course. The university also provides a Ph.D. program with a duration of 3 years.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates for admission to both B.Sc. The program of the university shall be selected through BCECE (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination) conducted each year by the Govt. of Bihar for 85% of the seats. For the rest 15% of the seats, selection would be made by the All India Entrance Examination conducted by ICAR. The candidate should have done 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Agriculture/ Math from a recognized board.
• Admission for M.Sc. Agriculture is done based on an entrance test conducted by the university itself for 85% of the total seats. The remaining 15% of seats are filled via the ICAR-qualified candidates. The same course is only for the Bihar domiciled students.
