BIT Jaipur Placement Norms

The placement norms at BIT Mesra are designed to ensure fairness and opportunities for all our students. Here are the guidelines governing campus placements:

  1. IT Services Option: Any eligible student who is not yet placed may choose to pursue opportunities in IT services companies. However, once a student receives an offer from an IT services company, they are restricted from participating in further recruitment processes for such companies.

  2. Core Placements: Students placed in IT services companies may also be considered for core company placements. However, once a student secures a position in a core company, they are not permitted to participate in any other recruitment processes except for dream jobs.

  3. Dream Recruiters: There is a provision for dream recruiters, wherein all eligible students, whether placed or not, may participate. The declaration of dream job status is at the discretion of the Training & Placement Division. Students who receive offers from dream recruiters are not allowed to participate in any other recruitment processes.

  4. Internship Process: All eligible and registered students are allowed to participate in the internship process, irrespective of holding any final placement offer, provided they have not secured any internship offer previously.

  5. Maximum Opportunities: Each student may avail a maximum of 10 opportunities across placement and internship processes.

  6. Attendance Requirement: Students who register for any placement or internship process must appear for the same. Failure to do so will result in their debarment from further placement and internship opportunities.

  7. Decision Authority: The Training & Placement Division reserves the right to make decisions in the best interests of the stakeholders involved.
