BIT Prayagraj Placement Cell

The placement exercise at the Birla Institute of Technology, Prayagraj Campus has a placement cell to guide students about their career plans, train them, and facilitate their placement in reputed organizations. The expert placement members have vast experience in the area of high learning and industry; excellent relationships with prospective employers and an intelligent mechanism of analysis of students' interests, strengths, weaknesses, training needs, etc. are the highlighting features of the placement cell. The focus of the placement cell is to train and equip students in such a way that they are gladly accepted by the best organizations, corporations, and industries.

For considering a placement offer for our students, a job profile is the main aspect. Keeping in view the long-term career prospects with the scope of learning opportunities, we give high importance to the standing of the employer and offered job profile, undoubtedly good financial remuneration naturally follows these two basic aspects. Based on the high reputation of BIT in academic standards and shaping student character in a decent environment, our students are categorized into a special bracket, and a good job profile with an attractive financial package is generally offered.

The cell operates in close guidance of the centralized placement division of our main campus at Mesra, Ranchi. Through coordinated efforts, BIT students are placed in leading corporates and PSUs.

In addition, the placement unit runs several training exercises in the development of personality including group discussions, group discussions, along with personal and group interviews. Students are taught based on real-life scenarios to ensure they are successful in achieving their goals in real-life sessions. The students also receive advice on career options to determine what they want to pursue. The recruitment process for the campus begins in the month of July.
