Training and Placement Department
- The primary objective of the Training and Placement Department at our college is to facilitate the successful placement of a substantial number of students in well-established IT and core manufacturing and infrastructure companies. In pursuit of this goal, the department maintains a consistent and proactive engagement with industries to comprehend the expectations they have from our students. On average, the department achieves a placement rate of 86% for eligible students with an academic performance surpassing a 55% average, accomplished through effective campus placement initiatives.
- Moreover, the Placement Department takes charge of organizing various activities such as on-the-job training, industrial visits, and career guidance lectures for students. It plays a pivotal role in coaching students in crucial aspects such as professionalism, presentation techniques, group discussion skills, and interview skills, and keeping them abreast of emerging technology trends and industry developments.
- Equipped with contemporary infrastructure facilities, including a 200-seating capacity auditorium, Group Discussion Room, Interview Rooms, and advanced office automation equipment like LCD projectors and laptops, the department ensures a conducive environment for training and placement activities.
The overarching goals of the department include ensuring favorable employment prospects, and encompassing opportunities for self-employment, for engineering students in alignment with their specialization and caliber. Additionally, the department strives to impart essential training to students in analytical skills, communication skills, group discussion techniques, personal interview strategies, and overall personality development. This comprehensive approach aims to equip students with the competence to face interviews confidently and excel in their chosen careers.
