TRAINING AND PLACEMENT CELL

Since the establishment of the college, the management has proactively established the Training and Placement Cell, led by dedicated staff at the Professor level, and equipped with the necessary infrastructure to facilitate employment opportunities for students. The initial focus involves providing training programs conducted by experts to enhance students' employability skills, addressing various aspects of employer expectations. External soft-skill trainers contribute to preparing students for both on-campus and off-campus interviews. Emphasis is placed on developing communication skills and proficiency in verbal and numerical aptitude. Real-time workshops further refine our students' readiness for the professional environment.

The college has achieved notable success in placing students in renowned companies, including Multi-National Companies (MNCs), Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and other top-ranking organizations. Special efforts are made to facilitate placements abroad, with several students securing positions in various Middle East countries. An in-house training group, comprising highly qualified faculty members, is dedicated to training students from the first year of engineering, including MBA and MCA.

The curriculum covers group discussions, interview skills, mock interviews, and technical interviews, preparing students to excel in various interview forums such as Campus Interviews, Consortium Interviews, TamilNadu State Level Placement Programme (TNSLPP), and Common Pooled Interviews. The Placement Cell maintains a comprehensive database to stay in touch with students from any batch, ensuring effective communication of opportunities. Since the first batch graduated in 2002, our students have consistently secured positions in high-profile companies. We actively gather feedback from employers regarding students and seek input from students about their experiences with the companies.
