CARESE Admission
• CARESE conducts offline registration process.
• Admission to BE course requires candidates to have passed 10+2/ higher secondary with PCM as compulsory subjects with at least 50% marks.
• For BE admission, the candidates can apply through TNEA.
• For admission to ME, the candidates must possess bachelor’s degree in the relevant subjects with minimum 55% marks.
• Selection of the candidates to ME course is based on TANCET.
Eligibility criteria
Eligibility criteria for B.Tech:
• The Candidates must have a Pass in +2 H.Sc., (Academic) with Maths, Physics, and Chemistry with the % of marks as stated below.
• The candidates must have a Pass in +2 H.Sc., (Vocational Scheme) with Engineering technology subjects and in any one of the related subjects like Maths or Physics or Chemistry with % of marks and as below.
• The candidate may hold a diploma in one of the courses like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or • • • Computer (for direct II Year lateral entry).
Any other equivalent qualification approved by the Anna University and the state Board of Technical Education / Higher Secondary Board of Tamil Nadu.
• OC – 50% average in the related subjects
• BC – 45% average in the related subjects
• MBC/DNC – 40% average in the related subjects
• SC/ST – 40% average in the related subjects
Community Certificate should be obtained from:
• BC / MBC – Revenue authority in the rank of DNC Deputy Tahsildar (Certificate) or equivalent and above.
• SC – Revenue officials in the rank of Tahsildar and above
• ST – Revenue Divisional Officer and above
Application Process
The application process conducted by the CARE School of Engineering is offline. Candidates seeking admission to courses offered by CARESE, Trichy must register themselves online for TNEA/ TANCET on the respective official websites.
For admission, the candidates must follow the below mentioned step-by-step procedure:
• Candidates can either download the application form available at the official website under the Admission tab.
• Candidate scan also obtain the form in person from the admission office of the college upon paying a nominal application fee.
• Candidates should fill the application form with all the relevant details, specifically mentioning the course of choice.

• PUC II/ 10+2 mark sheet and passing certificate

• Diploma and mark sheet (for B.E. Lateral entry)
