Additionally, the Sowa Rigpa faculty, part of the Traditional Tibetan Medicinal System, operates an outpatient clinic and dispensary in the New Academic Block, providing consultations and dispensing Tibetan remedies.

Renowned for producing studies, monographs, and extensively edited and translated Buddhist texts, the library at the heart of the institute houses 87,000 books, xylographs, 2,000 bound periodical editions, and plays a pivotal role in academic research.
