Hostel:

Central University Of Orissa  offers a hostel on its main campus, featuring state-of-the-art infrastructure and hygienic mess facilities. The main campus has one Boys' Hostel with a capacity of 240 residents. Due to the limited availability of hostel seats and the growing demand for accommodation, admission to a full-time program at the university does not guarantee hostel allotment.

Library:

The Central Library at the Central University of Orissa significantly contributes to the academic and research objectives of the institution, facilitating the creation and dissemination of knowledge. The library's services, of both range and quality, align with international standards. Since its establishment in 2009, the library has prioritized the development of a substantial collection of textbooks and reference books. With over 29,272 volumes, the library provides access to magazines, journals, theses, reports, e-books, e-journals, and online databases across Sciences, Humanities, and Social Sciences. Under the guidance of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sachidananda Mohanty, the library has undertaken initiatives such as air-conditioning, an e-resource zone, a Computer Centre, enhanced security with CCTV surveillance, and participation in the UGC-Infonet Digital Library Consortium, presently E-ShodhSindhu, providing access to 8,500+ e-journals.

Laboratories:

Central University Of Orissa laboratory facilities are well-equipped with advanced instruments, including a PCR machine, Gel electrophoresis, High-Speed Refrigerated Centrifuges, Spectrophotometer, Gel Documentation System, Chlorophyll Fluorescent Metre, and Infra-red Gas Analyser. The Remote Sensing Laboratory is equipped with ERDAS Imagine Software and Arc Imagine Software.

I.T Infrastructure:

The Central University of Orissa ensures internet connectivity through BSNL broadband services, offering about 30 terminals/portals for residents and teachers. This connectivity enhances interactive communication and knowledge sharing for faculty, researchers, students, and staff.

Medical/Hospital:

Central University Of Orissa have dispensaries with necessary medicines, and a part-time Doctor oversees medical services during working hours. An ambulance service is available on campus for medical emergencies.
