The University has a Career Counselling and Placement Cell which takes care of the campus placements and job opportunities for the students. The cell conducts the Campus Placement activities from time to time which are participated by the students of UG (Undergraduate) and Postgraduate (PG) levels. In previous years, many students from different departments of the University got job placements in reputed organisations. Some of the reputed organisations that visit the University campus every year include Azim Premji Foundation, Care India (NGO), Gandhi Fellowship – Piramal Foundation, etc. Students from the Media department got placements in Times of India, Hindustan Times, ETV Bharat, Hindustan Dainik and Prabhat Khabar along with many other organisations.
Key responsibilities of the Career Counselling and Placement Cell:1. To organise job-oriented awareness-related workshops from time to time for the university students.
2. To provide placement training to students with sessions on Resume / CV writing, conducting mock interviews, group discussion, etc.
3. To invite the experts from corporate organisations for interactive sessions, lectures on soft skills and giving away placement training to the students.
4. To disseminate the job opportunities-related information in the concerned (related) centres/departments.
5. To organise job fairs/career related fairs for the job seekers in the University premises.
