Common University Entrance Test (CUET):

National Common Entrance Test (NCET):

Online applications are invited for the National Common Entrance Test [NCET] 2023, designed for admission to the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) - B.Sc. B.Ed. (Mathematics). The National Testing Agency is responsible for conducting NCET, accepting online applications for admission to the ITEP in selected Central/State universities, and institutions, including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and government colleges for the academic session 2023-24.

How to Apply for UG and PG Programs?

Application Process:
  1. Prospective students can apply to CUTN both offline and online.
  2. Applicants are required to complete the registration forms for CUET.
  3. For online applications, the application fee must be paid through various online payment modes.
  4. Offline applications necessitate an E-challan to be processed at any SBI branch.
  5. Following the announcement of CUET results, students who have chosen admission to CUTN will be informed.

Admission Guidelines for NRI/Foreign Nationals:

The Central University of Tamil Nadu considers applications from Foreign Nationals nominated by the Government of India under scholarship schemes and those seeking direct admission through self-financing schemes for various courses. Foreign nationals are not required to appear for the Central Universities Common Entrance Tests (CUCET) for admission. However, they should have successfully completed the equivalent Qualifying Examination from an Indian or Foreign University/Institution. A provision of up to 10% of the total seats in each course on a supernumerary basis is available for Foreign Nationals. Admissions Procedure:

Foreign nationals are admitted to various programs of study through the following categories annually:
I) Direct Admission for Self-financing Students:
Foreign students opting for the self-financed category need to submit their applications, including their bio-data and academic qualifications in the prescribed format, to the International Student's Division at the Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur 610 005 India (email: [email protected]). The respective student (with a copy to the concerned Embassy) will be informed about the university's decision. II) Under the Cultural Exchange Fellowship Programme of Govt. of India:
