Library

The College Library presently housed in a spacious new building with a collection of 91,678 books and 158 periodicals; has a student book ratio of 1: 91. In different subscribed databases we have more than 3 Lakh e-books and more than 6,000 e-Journals in addition to a number of magazines and other resources. The library includes facilities like a periodicals section, study halls, research cubicles, computer lab, syndicate room, stock section, and archival section. It has a good learning environment with plenty of natural light and air.

Sports

The college has sports include chess, carom, table tennis, and outdoor sports include 100m running, 100X4 m relay, slow cycling, tug of war, etc. In order to carry out the sports activity smoothly, the committee is constituted by the director of the institute. The committee in turn constitutes the student's committee.

INFRASTRUCTURE

Fully furnished and well-equipped labs decorate every building in the University.  Moreover, the campus is fortified with ample features that support diverse events - Auditoriums, plush open spaces, outdoor stages, and much more.

Academic Blocks

A striking feature of  is the well-planned and comprehensive premises provided for both students and faculty. Seven academic blocks in VIT are extremely specialized in their particular field, namely- MB, GDN, CDMM, SMV, CBMR, TT, SJT, and GANDHI BLOCK. The layout has been excellently planned to make the maximum utilization of the 372-acre campus. The idea behind these separate blocks is to make every block equipped with the necessary amenities whilst providing the perfect atmosphere for both studies and research.

Career Development Centre

The Career Development Centre (CDC) works towards creating an environment that encourages students to think beyond the classroom and to develop the necessary skills to excel in their chosen fields. The center is committed to providing students with personalized career guidance, practical training, and relevant resources that can help them succeed in their careers.

Medical/Hospital

A well-equipped health center with 24*7 facilities for students is present at the campus. The medical centre of the varsity is run by the Chettinad Medical Group.
