Admission Procedure

All courses would be admitted in order of merit, which would be decided by the student's percentage of marks in the qualifying exam, the group discussion component, and/or the personal interview. It is recommended that a candidate submit an application for admission just if they meet the eligibility standards of the specific program they are interested in. The student bears the duty of acquiring all pertinent details regarding their eligibility. The Director/Principal may cancel a student's admission if, after being provisionally admitted based on the information and documentation provided by him/her, it is determined that the student is ineligible for any reason.

The following documents should be supplied with the application form, which must be completed in all aspects. 

• Original transcript of records from the previous school or college attended (T.C./S.L.C./C.L.C.).
• Two certified copies of the X, XII, and/or qualifying exam mark sheets.
• If there is a gap in the candidate's educational history, the candidate must present a Gap Certificate attesting to their excellent behavior, lack of college entrance, and lack of examination appearance.
• Students who did not graduate from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya or pass their XII exam on the Madhya Pradesh Board must submit an Eligibility Certificate from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, and a Migration Certificate from the previous Board/University.

Note :

An applicant may also submit a provisional admission application if they took the qualifying exam this year as a regular or private candidate and their results have not yet been announced. In order to avoid having his admission revoked, such a candidate must present the certificate of completing the exam by the deadline set for this purpose. In any event, the money and charges that he paid will not be reimbursed.

A minimum intake of 50% of total seats is essential to start a programme.

Rules For Admission

• Only XII-passing students are eligible to apply for graduate programs. Unless approved by the M.P. Government and the University, students who must appear in a Supplementary Examination in order to pass the XII or final year of their degree program are not eligible to apply for admission.
• Students must accept interim admission to the higher class without waiting for the results of Supplementary / A.T.K.T. Examinations if they are required to appear for them in the Ist or IInd year of Graduation University Examinations. Once the student provides documentation of passing the qualifying exam, the admission will be confirmed.
•  Regular and Provisional Admission in Post Graduate programmes will be as per the University rules for the particular programme.
• The enrollment form and admission form must be submitted by students who have never before registered at the university. On the admission form, those who have already enrolled must include their enrollment number.
• The Director's or Principal's decision on admission is final.

Reservation

In the matter of reservation of seats, the college follows the provisions contained in the Constitution of India and the decision of the Supreme Court of India as applicable to self–financing educational institutions established and administered by MINORITY COMMUNITY.

Freeship

Candidates from the economically disadvantaged segments of the population will be admitted in addition to the allotted seats, up to a maximum of 5%, as long as they meet the requirements set forth in the qualifying exam. Depending on the merits of each case, such candidates may be excluded from paying the tuition cost up to 100% of the total amount required for the course. If two children of the same parents are enrolled in the same college, the younger of the two may be eligible for a 50% tuition fee reduction provided he passes the test on his first try and behaves well.
