Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) has was established in the year 2008 as an autonomous institution, with active support from the Government of Bihar. The institute was established contributing substantially to the academic and development credentials of Bihar while fulfilling the primary role of training students to become effective managers. Academic collaborations with universities in the USA, Canada, Sweden and other countries are being initiated for students' exchange programs and other academic/research activities.

1. CIMP offers a two years Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) to the candidates who have passed their Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
2. Admission to PGDM is done on the basis of scores obtained in the qualifying examination and the entrance exam such as CAT/MAT/XAT/MAT.
3. CIMP also offers Fellow Program and Executive Program in Management to the candidates who have passed their Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
4. Admission to FPM is done on the basis of scores obtained in the qualifying examination and the entrance exam such as CAT/GMAT/GRE/RAT.
5. Admission to EPM is done on the basis of a personal interview.
