Admission criteria for the B.D.S. Course 

Admission criteria for the B.D.S. Course necessitate meeting specific requirements. Candidates must be at least 17 years old by December 31st of the Admission Year. They should be medically fit for dental practice and have passed the Karnataka II PUC examination or an equivalent. This requires having Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects, with English as one of the languages. Securing a minimum of 50% marks in these subjects and English is essential, except for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, for whom 40% marks are sufficient. Admission to the course is based on meeting the criteria outlined in the NEET Eligibility CARD.

Admission Procedure

The admission procedure involves submitting the application form along with several certified documents, including the NEET RANK CARD, SSLC (10th Std) Marks Card, and 12th Std.  Marks Card, Transfer Certificate, Date of Birth Certificate (if not in the 10th Marks card), Blood Group Report, and more. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe students must provide Caste and income Certificates. Additionally, various photographs, a parent's PAN CARD copy, and an Eligibility Certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences are required, with specific exemptions for P.U.C. Board students.

M.D.S. Course Admission

The M.D.S. Course admission encompasses postgraduate programs in nine specialties of dentistry. The application process entails submitting certified copies of documents such as the Original NEET Rank Card, SSLC (10th Std) Marks Card, B.D.S. Course completion Transfer Certificate, First to Final Year B.D.S. Marks Cards, Degree Certificate from the University, Internship Completion Certificate, Registration Certificate from State Dental Council of India, and more.

Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe and OBC students have specific document requirements, including Caste and Income Certificates. Foreign Nationals have additional requirements such as NOC from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Dept. of Health, Delhi, and Passport and visa copies. Parent's/Student’s PAN Card copies are also necessary, among other documents.
