• A pass in the Higher Secondary Course (10+2)/CBSE/any other examination (regular mode) recognized as equivalent thereto and fulfilling the following requirements are mandatory.
• In addition, for those candidates who have appeared HSC examination of Tamil Nadu State Board from March 2019, a pass in the 11th standard examination is mandatory(G.O. Ms. No. 195, School Education Dept., Dated: 14.09.2018 of the Government of Tamil Nadu).
• Only academic qualification examination marks secured by the candidate will be considered for the aggregate mark calculation. Grace marks for co-curricular / extracurricular activities will not be considered.
Candidates should have attained the age of 17 years.
Maximum Age:
Candidates of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Caste – Arunthathiyar (SCA) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories- NO age limit
Other candidates- 21 years
The Differently abled candidates shall be given an upper age relaxation of 5 years vide Lr. No. 9768/DAP-3.1/2017-19 Dated: 28.06.2021 of the Welfare of Differently abled persons (DAP-3.1) Department, Secretariat, Chennai – 9.
