Admission to the undergraduate program leading to a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc.& A.H.) degree is determined through the merit list of a state-level competitive examination organized by the Chhattisgarh State Professional Examination Board. Eligibility for the program requires XII class students in the Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English streams to achieve a minimum of 50% marks overall in these subjects. In addition to the state's allotted seat quota (36 seats), 15% of the seats (05 seats) are filled through the "All India Common Pre Veterinary Test," conducted by the Veterinary Council of India. Furthermore, four (04) seats are exclusively reserved for employees of the Directorate of Veterinary Services (Government of Chhattisgarh), and these seats are also allocated based on the aforementioned criteria.
