At the postgraduate level, the Department of Business Management, at Osmania University offers a full-time MBA program. The duration of this program is 2 years. Selection Procedure

Candidates aspiring to join the MBA program are required to appear for a state-wide Common Entrance Test [TS-ICET], which evaluates them based on their analytical, quantitative, and verbal skills. The admission is offered only to the top rankers amongst the 60, 000 odd candidates. The program has been attracting, young and bright students of the state from varied academic streams like Engineering, etc.

Bachelors' Degree from a recognized University with an aggregate of not less than 45% marks. A pass for SC and ST Candidates is sufficient.

The candidates seeking admission must qualify in the entrance examination i.e., I-CET, examination conducted in the year of admission as per the norms prescribed by the University.

Sponsored Category (For Employees)

1. Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University with an aggregate of not less than 45% marks.
2. Candidates from SC & ST categories need a pass percentage at graduation level.
3. The candidate seeking admission must have a minimum of three years of experience in an Executive/Managerial/Administrative/Supervisory position in a Commercial/Industrial/Business/Government/ Commercial undertaking/any other organization, after obtaining a Bachelor's Degree.
4. Candidates under the sponsored category need not appear for the entrance examination (I-CET).
