Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Indore's training and placement division is in charge of organizing efficient recruitment drives and creating connections with the working world. The cell's primary responsibility is to handle DAVV Indore placements and train students by planning various placement-related events like workshops, seminars, and lectures. Helping students achieve their career goals is one of the key goals of DAVV,  Indore training and placement unit. The Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Indore placement process entails sending pertinent information to the companies that are hiring and receiving job descriptions in return. It also involves scheduling campus visits, pre-placement meetings, written tests, group interviews, and personal interviews (GD and PI), as well as final DAVV Indore placements.

According to the placement report from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Indore for 2018–19 for undergraduate and postgraduate programs, 468 out of 594 eligible students received placement offers, while 82 chose to pursue further education with an average salary of Rs 4,21,000 for UG courses. For PG (3-year) courses, however, 44 students chose to continue their education while only 12 obtained job offers. Following the conclusion of UG (3 years) and PG (3 years) programs in 2018–19, the median salaries offered to students were Rs. 3,00,000 and Rs. 4,00,000, respectively.
