The Diamond Harbour Women’s University has designated a medical room on the ground floor (no. 103) of the Academic building equipped with a stretcher, a wheelchair cum bed, and a cupboard containing first aid kits. In addition to having a doctor on call, the university has established partnerships with two nearby government hospitals, Diamond Harbour Super-specialty Hospital, and Amtala Hospital, to address emergencies concerning students, designated officials, teaching and non-teaching staff, and others. 

Library:

The Diamond Harbour Women’s University Central Library, situated conveniently on the ground floor of the Academic Building, caters not only to current students, research scholars, and staff but also to alumni, independent researchers, and academicians unaffiliated with the university.  The library holds around 6000 books in Bengali, English, and other Indian languages, along with contributions from various academicians. It houses nearly 25 journals, subscribes to three daily newspapers, and provides cartographic charts. The library also facilitates e-learning with approximately 3000 e-books as of January 2019, links to e-PG Pathshala, and offers a well-maintained reading room, digital reading room, and reprography services. 

Sports:

The university is dedicated to the holistic development of its students and staff, providing facilities for indoor and outdoor games. Indoor games include table tennis, carrom, and exercise equipment, while outdoor options encompass volleyball, badminton, and football.

Cafeteria:

With its canteen strategically located near the Academic Building and Students’ Hostel, the university ensures a hygienic and student-friendly environment.  The canteen, operated by LTI through a bidding process, emphasizes nourishing meals over fast food, discourages junk food, and promotes indigenous beverages. It is regularly cleaned, and equipped with a sitting area, washbasins, a wall-mounted television set, a refrigerator, a refrigerated ice-cream box, and a fixed price chart.

Classrooms:

The Academic Building houses two air-conditioned smart classrooms on the first and second floors, accommodating nearly 100 students each, for ICT-supported academic activities.
