Admission Rules Of Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis Mahavidyalaya:
Applications are to be made on an online basis following the minimum as set by the University. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the aggregate of the best four subjects (excluding EVS) and the subject/related subject in which the student intends to study Honours. Course.
Candidates passing H.S. or equivalent exams, from various Open Schools (except from the National Institute of Open Schooling) are not eligible for admission.
Candidates who had vocational courses at the H.S. or equivalent exams are eligible for admission only in the Programme/General Course.
Candidates who had not studied Geography ( Economic Geography not considered) at 10+2 levels are not eligible to take up Honours in Geography.
Candidates who have not studied Chemistry at 10+2 levels are not eligible to take up Honours in Food & Nutrition and to take up Chemistry as one of
the General subjects in the B.Sc. (General) course.
Admission Procedure:
The Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis Mahavidyalaya Students are advised to apply through an online process at the college portal available at the website named, “www.pcmm.edu.in” after the publication of the results of the W.B. Council/ISC/CBSE. or equivalent examination. Selected applicants are required to secure their admission on full payment of the requisite fees through this portal. Original Documents will be verified on the first day of the Academic Session as notified on the website. If the documents are found fake on verification, the admission will be cancelled.
