Duration: The MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) program spans a total duration of 5.5 years, including both theoretical learning and practical training.

Dr. RMLIMS Lucknow Ph.D. Admission

Initiation: The Ph.D. programme at RMLIMS commenced in 2013 in affiliation with King George Medical University U.P. (KGMU UP), following the guidelines set by KGMU.
Program Structure: The duration of the Ph.D. programme is 3 years. Faculty members with requisite experience in MCI recognized/permitted departments are eligible to become chief guides for the programme.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Candidates must have completed post-graduation with a minimum aggregate of 60%.
2. Medical/Dental candidates must possess MD/MS/MDS degrees with at least 60% marks in MBBS/BDS aggregate.
Fees: The total fees for the Ph.D. programme amount to INR 1,56,500.
Selection Criteria:
1. Eligible Ph.D. applicants with secure funding (excluding those with JRF from UGC/CSIR) need to appear for a Ph.D. Entrance Test conducted by KGMU through the Office of Controller of Examination.
2. The Entrance Test is a written aptitude test covering logical thinking, human biology (10+2 level), general awareness, research aptitude, and basic computer knowledge (class 10 level).
3. Qualifying marks for the Entrance Test are 55% for general candidates and 50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
4. Qualified candidates from the Entrance Test and JRFs are required to submit an application to the Head of the department of their chosen field within 15 days of the declaration of the result of the Entrance Test.
5. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an Interview as part of the selection process.
Training and Curriculum: Candidates undergo training in research methodology, biostatistics, computer use, etc., to ensure proficiency in biomedical sciences research and prepare them for successful careers in research.
