Admission Process:
Aspiring candidates seeking admission to EIMS for the academic year 2023-24 are required to fulfill the institute's eligibility criteria and complete the prescribed admission process. Eligibility Criteria:
Prospective candidates seeking admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Elims must hold a Bachelor's degree from the University of Calicut or any other recognized university or institution approved by the UGC or AICTE. The degree programs from other universities or institutions should follow the 10+2+3 (or 10+2+4) pattern under the regular-stream. A minimum aggregate of 50% marks or equivalent grade is required in the Bachelor's degree examination, including language marks. However, there are relaxations in marks for OBC and SC/ST candidates, with a 5% relaxation for OBC and Other Eligible Communities and a mere pass for SC/ST candidates.
Applicants must also achieve a valid score in one of the following management aptitude tests:
a) Kerala Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) conducted by CEE, Government of Kerala, in 2024 only.
b) Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) conducted by AICTE, in 2024 only.
c) Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs, in 2023 only.
Candidates should have completed a Bachelor's degree of a minimum of three years duration in fields such as Arts, Science, Engineering, Commerce, Management, or their equivalents to meet the eligibility criteria for the MBA course.
Qualifying Marks in Entrance Exam:
General category candidates and SEBC candidates securing a cutoff of 10%, and SC/ST/PD category candidates securing a cutoff of 7.5%, will be eligible for admission to the MBA Program.
