ECC Allahabad Facilities

The ECC facilities and infrastructure include hostel facilities, a library, sports facilities, a cafeteria, an auditorium, medical facilities, and many more. ECC Allahabad hostel facilities are provided to the students on campus. All the basic amenities are available in the hostel. The college library has a huge number of books. A dedicated digital section which has CDs, DVDs, e-books, e-journals, and many more is also present in the college. Ewing Christian College Allahabad facilities also include the cafeteria which provides tasty and healthy food to the students and staff. The auditorium of the college is regularly used by the students and teachers to organize events and functions. Details of ECC Allahabad facilities and infrastructure are given below.

Library

The ECC library is equipped with modern amenities; as many as 15 workstations that are connected to the LAN as well as via the remote server over wifi that has a broadband connection of 2 Mbps are available and being utilized during the time of the college.

The ECC is already registered on the NLIST. LIST (National Library and Information Services Infrastructures that support Scholarly information) Website, which is a program of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) under the National Mission on Education through ICT. Through these workstations, students can access as many as 1,00,000 plus e-books as well as 3,000 plus e-journals from the N-LIST. Students have access to e-resources that include the facilities of Photostat as well as online printers that are accessible for the payment system. An enormous number of reference and text titles (60000 old and 3000 brand new available) are available via the open shelves. There is an average of 30 books for each student. Additionally, unique collections from the Encyclopedia Britannica, and Encyclopedia of Religion and Ethics, are available at the library.

E-library

The ECC has been offering e-library services for all 3rd-year students and staff members of the College since December of 2007. The college has provided 60 computer systems available to use library resources. The systems are all connected through Local Area Networking (LAN) and BSNL. Broadband (2 MBPS) connectivity is available for the Internet. Computer Based Tutorials (CBTs) are also available on a variety of subjects to help you better understand the subject matter.

Girls Hostel

The ECC has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The capacity of the hostels and occupancy (to be given separately for men and women) – One woman hostel with a capacity of 26.

I.T Infrastructure

The Internet is a global network of computer networks that are interconnected, and serve users around the world, and is a network that consists of academic, business, and other networks. with an international and local scope which are connected by various optical, wireless, and electronic technology for networking and offers an array of information and services. Thus, we provide an extensive web of information to both students of the College Faculty as well as students in the college It was planned to establish a comprehensive system that includes Optic Fibre Connectivity on the campus.

The ECC departments were all provided computers and the process of installing Optic Fibre for internet connectivity was assigned. At present, the College currently has the Optic Fibre network which connects all departments, making possible the intra-net as well as the inter-net services.

Parking Area

The ECC has a well-placed parking space for all students at the college. Every bona fide student at the college must create a token at the beginning of each academic session. It is utilized for a full year. A minimal amount needs to be paid to use the token. Parking on any other area of the college's premises is not allowed and is subject to disciplinary action. There is a separate parking area for bicycles, two-wheelers and four-wheelers
