Gaya College has a Placement Cell that functions to help in the placement of the students and has high placement statistics every year. The students are well-trained to meet corporate standards and they get well-paid jobs based on the caliber and skills they possess. The recruitment process of Gaya College is given below:

STEP 1

Sending invitations to the companies


The Placement Cell invites the companies by e-mail to the past and potential companies and interested companies in return get back to the college for further process.

STEP 2

Fixing a Schedule and slot allocation

The Placement Cell then fixes dates with various recruiters for conducting the placement drive and the slots are allocated to different recruiters on mutual agreement and the schedule is notified to the students.

STEP 3

Registration for participation in the recruitment drive


Candidates interested in participating in the placement drive have to register for participation and they have to submit their updated resumes along with all the necessary documents.

STEP 4

Interaction with the Company


Companies have to visit Gaya College on a fixed date and firstly they deliver a pre-placement talk for the students so that they are well aware of the basic policies followed by the company and help the students to clear all their queries.

STEP 5

Shortlisting of registered candidates


Candidates are shortlisted based on the specific academic requirements as demanded by the recruiters which are known as pre-hiring demands such as minimum percentage, etc. and the shortlisted candidates are part of the further placement process.

STEP 6

Screening tests conducted by Recruiters


After the pre-placement talk has been delivered and the resumes of the interested candidates are shortlisted according to the eligibility criteria, various tests are conducted by the companies to judge the Quantitative aptitude, Logical ability, English competency, Domain knowledge, and Suitability toward specific skill sets of the potential students and students are shortlisted accordingly.

STEP 7

Group Discussion


Students clearing the screening tests conducted by the recruiters will further have to participate in Group Discussions which may be on any topic, it can be a social, political, business-related topic, etc. wherein candidates have to voice their opinion and present their thoughts in front of the interviewers and based on their participation in the Group Discussion, candidates are shortlisted.

STEP 8

Personal Interview


Shortlisted candidates have to appear for the interviews taken by the companies. Interviews namely Technical Interviews, HR Interviews, etc. are some of the interviews taken by the interviewers to judge the overall personality of the potential candidate and candidates who qualify for the personal interview are finally selected in the placement drive.

STEP 9

Making the Job Offer to the finally selected candidates


Candidates who are successful in qualifying for all the tests and personal interviews conducted by the recruiters, are finally selected in the placement drive of Gaya College These candidates are offered jobs the selected candidates give their acceptance if they are willing to join the company on the specified date of joining.
