Government Brennan College Thalassery administration oversees the management of both men's and women's hostels. Dr. T V Jayakrishnan, appointed as the warden by the Director of Collegiate Education from Government Brennan College Thalassery faculty, leads the hostel administration. The warden's office operates independently, separate from university management.
Established back in 1970, Government Brennen College takes pride in its well-equipped auditorium capable of accommodating 800 individuals. This versatile space comes complete with attached bathroom facilities, rendering it suitable for diverse purposes such as conferences, and large meetings, and adaptable enough to serve as examination rooms. Notably, the auditorium hosted the Kerala Science Congress held on the campus in January 2018.
The college boasts four computer labs, three affiliated with various departments, dedicated respectively to Mathematics, Statistics, and Commerce. The primary computer lab operates between 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, equipped with 20 computers, all running licensed Windows operating systems. These systems are interlinked within a local area network with internet access facilitated by a high-speed BSNL broadband connection, operating at 100 Mbps. To optimize data transfer among systems, a high-speed Gigabit switch is utilized.
The physical education department at Government Brennen College serves as a premier sports hub in Northern Kerala, offering ample facilities for sports training and fitness activities.
Situated in a separate building on the campus, Government Brennan College Thalassery houses a well-established canteen that offers hygienic, nutritious, and appealing meals at reasonable rates for students and staff. The cafeteria's menu typically includes breakfast and lunch, occasionally operating during holidays for special occasions. With dedicated dining areas for both students and staff, the cafeteria accommodates 42 students and 32 staff members. Operating hours are from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
