GGIT, Kanpur Placement Cell

The GGIT, Kanpur Placement Cell's activities include training and career counseling, industry sensitization, and program coordination for campus recruitment, lateral recruitment, and summer internships. It communicates with potential employers and sets up in-person interviews and pre-placement talks on campus. The performance and abilities of the student, along with the rules and regulations of the industry, control the entire process.

The Cell is essential in offering a range of in-house and external training programs, including seminars, workshops, industry visits, personality development courses, and more, to instill managerial qualities in students and familiarize them with business culture and the real-world applications of various theoretical subjects. 

To help with student placement, the Cell keeps in regular contact with the industry and other companies. In order to give the students a first-hand understanding of the sector, the Cell also makes an effort to schedule regular interactions between students and professionals from the industry.

Depending on the needs of the recruiters, the placement program runs from October through the middle of the fourth semester each year. The hiring organizations are free to send requirements and schedule Pre Placement Talks to inform students about available positions.

All facilities, including lodging, transportation, test-taking arrangements, group discussions, and interviews, are provided to participating companies. Every audiovisual tool, including computers, TVs, and LCD projectors.
