GIT Jaipur provides a range of educational programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with a strong focus on the field of Engineering and Technology. All courses offered by the institute are approved by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). For undergraduate studies, GIT Jaipur offers a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree with specializations available in six different fields. The duration of the B.Tech. program is four years. Admissions to this program are based on merit in the JEE Main examination, ensuring that students are selected based on their academic aptitude and performance in this prestigious national-level entrance test. At the postgraduate level, GIT Jaipur provides a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) program in four different disciplines. Admission to the M.Tech. program is granted based on the candidate's performance in the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) examination. GATE scores serve as a benchmark for assessing candidates' technical knowledge and readiness for advanced studies in their chosen field of specialization.

GIT, Jaipur Admission Procedure

B.Tech – I Year:

  • 15% of seats are reserved for Management Quota admissions.
  • 15% of seats are allocated for students from outside Rajasthan via REAP.
  • 70% of seats are reserved for Rajasthan Domicile students.
  • Eligibility Criteria: Students must have passed the 12th class with a minimum of 45% in Physics & Mathematics, along with one optional subject as per AICTE Norm.

B.Tech – II Year – Lateral Entry:

  • Admissions are conducted through centralized counseling (through LEEP) based on Polytechnic Diploma qualifications.

M.Tech:

  • Admission for M.Tech programs is facilitated through centralized online counseling conducted by the Coordinator, CAM (Centralized Admission for M.Tech.) under Rajasthan Technical University.

Ph.D.:

  • Admission for Ph.D. programs is conducted through centralized online counseling conducted through the RTU DAT Admission Procedure.

Global Institute of Technology Application Process

To register for admission, candidates must follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Visit the official website of the institute.

  2. Download the admission form from the official website.

  3. Affix a passport-sized photograph on the form.

  4. Fill in all the necessary details, including:

    • Personal details
    • Academic qualifications
    • Entrance exam details
    • Payment details

  5. Submit the form along with the following documents:

    • JEE/REAP allotment letter
    • 10th-grade mark sheet
    • 12th-grade mark sheet/admit card
    • Photocopy of Aadhaar card
    • JEE (Main) scorecard/admit card
    • Medical fitness certificate (to be downloaded from the REAP website)
    • Transfer certificate
    • Migration certificate
    • Four color passport-sized photos
    • Photocopy of caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC)
    • Photocopy of domicile certificate (only for outsiders)

  6. The submission can be done online or offline. For online submission, scan and upload the documents as attachments to the email ID [email protected].

  7. Payment of the fee (Minimum amount to be paid is INR. 21,000/- for provisional admission) can be made through:

    • PAYTM
    • Net Banking
