D. Pharm

The program was started in 2019, at Govindrao Nikam College of Pharmacy, Sawarde with additional laboratories and teaching staff for D.Pharm. The Infrastructure is upgraded to take care of Diploma Pharmacy Students. The diploma in pharmacy program is mainly designed to prepare the students for trade and business. The curriculum is designed by the Pharmacy Council of India. The main subjects taught in diploma pharmacy are pharmaceutics and pharm. chemistry, Basic principles of pharmacology, and pharmacognosy. The program also includes pharm jurisprudence the subject related to the law which governs drug stores. Business management, drug store management, accounts, etc.

The program also focuses on personality development, salesmanship, and communication skills.

Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra State Candidates and Outside Maharashtra State Candidates

Passed HSC Sci. – PCB OR PCM group required a Minimum of 50% marks for the General category & 45% marks required for the Reserve category with MHT-CET-2020 non-zero marks.
