Government Polytechnic Mumbai emphasizes on all-round development of students and equips them to face life after college. College has a dedicated placement cell headed by a Training & Placement officer and is assisted by coordinators from each department. The curriculum is designed to develop the overall personality of the students. The course in the first year focuses on self-development and communication skills. The placement cell assists the students in exploring the opportunities provided by the prospective employer. It helps the students to plan their careers by providing information and guiding them about the companies that approach college for placement. The placement seasons of the college start from August till February.
