The campus is situated along National Highway No., 2 which is also known as the famed G.T. Road (also connecting Allahabad and Varanasi). It's about 10 kilometers. to Allahabad Junction Railway station and 1 km. away from Triveni Sangam. The Institute is a lush healthy and green campus that spans 10 acres. It also has its system of water distribution. To ensure uninterrupted power supply the Institute has constructed a 62.5 KVA electricity generator.
Main building
It features a beautifully designed and architecturally pleasing three-floor structure (approximately 45,000 square. feet) that houses the libraries, faculty offices, a huge reading room computers as well as seminar halls, lecture halls committee, and administration offices.
Seminar Hall
The Institute is equipped with a seminar hall and a committee room that is equipped to host symposiums, seminars, workshops, and lectures. Software such as SPSS, ArcGIS, ERDAS, Gram Plus, Libsys, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office as well as Tally 9 ERP, are accessible. National Cadet Corps
To allow the students, the University of Allahabad has opened 4 NCC units. With the view to giving opportunities to more girls for NCCs, the University of Allahabad opened 6 UP Girls Bn NCC exclusively for girls’ cadets in June 2016. A group of 17 students became a part of this organization under the supervision of Associate NCC Officer Lt. Dr. Neetu Mishra in August 2016. From 2016 to 2020 number of enrolled students rose from 17 to 53 (Currently, 20 Cdts in the first year, 11 in the Second year, and 22 in the third year).
Athletic Association
The aim and object of the Association are to promote the physical well-being of University students in general, by providing facilities for games and sports and by organizing competitions and tournaments. Keeping in mind, the aims and objectives, the activities of the Association are planned. Despite the infrastructural deficiency and resource crunch, the Association has been able to achieve National and International level achievements.
