GEC Bikaner offers courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the fields of engineering, sciences, management, design, and humanities with a primary focus on engineering. Undergraduate courses Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) programs and Postgraduate degrees award Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Science (M.Sc.), Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) and Master of Computer Application (MCA).
- Admission to the B.Tech program is done through merit in JEE Main whereas, for admission to the two-year M.Tech program, candidates need to sit for the GATE examination. Admission to the rest of the programs (BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA, M.Sc) is done strictly based on merit in the pre-qualifying examination.
- As prescribed by the Govt. of Rajasthan (except in the case of Private unaided Institutions and 50% seats in the self-finance course of the aided institutions) the reservation of seats will be made subject to the prevalent statutory provisions of the State of Rajasthan viz. 16% for SC candidates, 12% for ST candidates, 21% for candidates belonging to non-creamy layer OBC category.
- As per the state government, the 45% seats of the prescribed 12% ST quota will be reserved for TSP (Tribal Sub Plan) in all institutions where ST reservation is available. The candidates who belong to notified areas of five districts namely Banswara, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Udaipur, and Sirohi (i.e. districts in the tribal region), and come under ST reservation will be eligible under this quota.
- Provision will also be made for horizontal reservation of 3% for candidates belonging to physically handicapped (PwD), 25% for women category, and 3% for dependants of Defence Killed/Ex-servicemen / Gallantry award winners.
- 5% of the total intake capacity over and above the sanctioned strength in each of the institutions will be reserved for Kashmiri migrants.

Government Engineering College (ECB) Bikaner invites applications for admission to its Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree program for the academic year 2024. The B.Tech program offers specializations in seven different fields of Engineering.
To be eligible for admission to the B.Tech./B.E. program in Rajasthan, candidates must have passed their qualifying examination with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to “SC/ST/Noncreamy layer OBC/Noncreamy layer SBC” of Rajasthan State) with Physics and Mathematics, along with one subject from Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Technical Vocational Subjects from a recognized board/university.
Admission to the B.Tech program can be secured through either JEE Main or based on 12th-class merit. Interested candidates need to fill out the online application form for the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP). The REAP application form will be available online from 15th May to 15th June.
Candidates born on or after 01 October 1992 are eligible to apply. However, a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit is provided for SC/ST/PwD candidates, meaning they must have been born on or after 01 October 1987. The date of birth mentioned in the secondary education mark sheet/certificate will be considered for eligibility.

Government Engineering College (ECB) Bikaner announces admissions for its Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) programs for the academic year 2024.
The BBA program spans three years and the BCA program spans three years as well. Admission to these programs is open to candidates who meet the following criteria:
For the BBA program, candidates are selected based on their performance in the 10+2 level examination or its equivalent, with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks. Candidates from SC/ST categories need to achieve minimum pass marks for eligibility.
For the BCA program, applicants must have passed the 10+2 level examination or its equivalent with English and either Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Application, Information Practices, or Statistics subjects. They must secure a minimum aggregate of 48% marks. SC/ST category candidates need to obtain minimum pass marks for eligibility.
Admission to both the BBA and BCA programs is solely based on merit in the last qualifying examination.

At the postgraduate level, ECB Bikaner provides opportunities for aspiring candidates to pursue advanced degrees in business administration and computer applications.
For admission to the MCA program, candidates must possess a graduation degree, with Mathematics at the 10+2 level. Additionally, candidates holding a BCA degree are also eligible for consideration.
As for the MBA program, candidates who have obtained minimum marks in their graduation-level examinations are eligible to apply.
