GS Mandal's Marathwada Institute Of Technology is the parent trust responsible for establishing the Marathwada Institute of Technology (MIT), Aurangabad. It is a 45-year-old institution, which to date continues to offer various programs in Engineering, Architecture, Management, and Computer Applications.

GS Mandal's Marathwada Institute Of Technology, Aurangabad is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU) and accredited by AICTE. Only B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA and MBA courses are accredited by AICTE.

Architectural courses are accredited by the Architectural Council of India, (ACI) New Delhi. The courses are approved by BATU and BAMU. 

Admissions are offered in 6 specializations of B.Tech, B.Arch, 8 specializations of M.Tech, MBA and MCA.

50% in the previous qualifying examination is required to be eligible for admissions for the open/general category. While the reserved category gets a 5% relaxation to be eligible for admissions.
