Gulbarga University offers an online mode of application for students.

• The admission into ML.I.Sc., MVA, and LLM is made by good marks in the qualifying examination.

• For M.Sc. in Environmental Science and Material Science, Statistics, Sugar Technology and Electronics and Instrumentation Technology, MA in Marathi, Sanskrit, Psychology, Urdu & Persian, and music, students are selected according to their the merits of their qualifying exam.

• Selection to M.Sc., MA, M.Com, B.P.Ed., M.P.Ed., and M.Ed. is based on the results of the Entrance Examination that is conducted at the University.
• The selection for Ph.D. and M.Phil is made on the basis of academic performance and the entrance exam administered by the university.
