Placement Initiatives at Hindu College of Pharmacy

The primary objective of the Placement Cell at the Hindu College of Pharmacy is to secure placements for students in esteemed pharmaceutical companies, government organizations, and the private pharmacy sector. Students pursuing D. Pharm., B. Pharm., and M. Pharm.  programs receive comprehensive placement assistance, career counseling, and support for both employment and self/social entrepreneurship endeavors. The Placement Cell facilitates a seamless placement process by providing logistic support to visiting companies and acting as an interface between the industry and students. 

The Placement Cell is committed to enabling students to choose from diverse career options and actively engages with corporate organizations to facilitate suitable job placements and internships for students completing their studies at the Hindu College of Pharmacy.  Seminars and workshops are also conducted to enhance the professional skills of students, preparing them for successful careers.

Placement Process

The Placement Cell at the Hindu College of Pharmacy plays a pivotal role in connecting students with placement opportunities. It invites various pharmaceutical companies for campus recruitment of final-year students, ensuring a systematic interaction with the industry for fruitful career placements.  Continuous career counseling is provided to students from the beginning of their programs, aligning their aspirations with potential companies participating in the placement program. 

Planning for Placement

The Placement Committee, led by Dr. NAGARAJU PAPPULA as Coordinator along with other committee members, manages placement activities. Key activities include pre-placement visits to companies, networking with potential recruiters, inviting recruiters to visit the institute, and ongoing placement support until all students are placed.  The Placement Cell also focuses on grooming and training candidates, facilitating their chances of selection.

Student Registration for Placement

Final-year students interested in availing of placement support register themselves, while those opting out of placement support do not need to register.

Placement Eligibility

Students failing to clear academic exams and other formalities at the course end are removed from the placement process. Major disciplinary actions can also result in termination from campus placement activities.

The final placement process adheres to established guidelines, periodically revised to maximize benefits for students.
