The admission and selection processes for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses at Hindu College through CUET (Central University Entrance Test) and Delhi University's Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) involve a multi-step procedure.  Here's a detailed breakdown of the process:

UG Course Selection Process:

  1. Candidates are required to appear for CUET examinations conducted by the university.
  2. Qualifying candidates participate in e-counseling rounds where they choose their preferred colleges through two rounds of e-counseling.
  3. CUET examinations comprise three sections: Languages, Domain Specific, and General Test.
  4. The language section (Section 1) includes two subsections (A and B) covering multiple languages. Candidates must appear for at least one language test.
  5. Domain Specific (Section 2) and General Tests (Section 3) require candidates to refer to program-specific eligibility criteria for subject selection.
  6. Applicants submit their applications on the common UG application portal after registration, ensuring careful college and course selection.
  7. Essential documents, including photographs, signatures, identity proofs, etc., must be attached to the application.
  8. Candidates who meet the cutoff percentages are required to report to the college with various documents for admission.

PG Course Selection Process:

For M.A. and M.Sc. courses, candidates with a minimum of 60% or above marks in a Bachelor's Degree in the relevant stream can apply for direct admission. Lower scores (minimum 50%) candidates undergo selection based on merit and CUET PG scores followed by an interview.

For an M.Com course, a minimum of 65% marks in B.Com is required for direct admission. Lower scores undergo a selection process based on merit, CUET PG scores, and an interview.

Hindu College PG Admission Process:

  1. Applicants register and create login credentials on the common PG application portal.
  2. One application per department is allowed per login. Separate login credentials are necessary for each application.
  3. Submission of application forms requires certain documents, including Class XII results, Class X mark sheet, photographs, signature, identification proof, etc.
  4. Applicants mention Bachelor’s Degree marks and the name of the last attended college in the Application Form.
  5. Entrance exam scores and interviews play a vital role in shortlisting candidates for final admission.

Hindu College CSAS Admission Process:

Candidates fill out the CSAS application form and select courses and college preferences based on CUET scores and merit.

Multiple rounds of seat allotment occur based on various factors like course, college choice, merit list, category, and seat availability.

Accepted candidates must confirm their seats by the specified date, followed by document verification and fee payment.

Hindu College Application Process 2024:

Candidates seeking admission must register for the CUET examination and subsequently apply through Delhi University’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for UG and PG programs.

The application process includes filling in the required details, uploading documents, paying application fees, and printing the submitted forms for future reference.
