Campus Infrastructure

The college management is committed to ensuring the comfort of students by providing necessary infrastructural facilities. Construction work is undertaken whenever new courses are introduced. In the UG Campus, there are 12 blocks, each equipped with an ample number of rooms for teaching and laboratories.

Library

The Hindu College, Guntur library houses an extensive collection of reference books and textbooks covering all subjects. Faculty members and students are encouraged to utilize these resources extensively. The library staff actively keeps the faculty and students informed about the latest acquisitions, displaying new titles at the entrance and sharing information through the notice board.  An advisory committee oversees and advises on resource utilization to enhance the teaching-learning process. Departmental libraries are established for various departments, and the library subscribes to subject journals. Faculty members stay updated on subject knowledge using reference books and journals, incorporating current news and information into their teaching. The library also supports student seminars, assignments, and discussions on current events using newspapers and the internet. Special assistance is provided to students preparing for competitions, and old question papers, syllabi, and marking schemes are made available.

Sports and Health

The Hindu College, Guntur features a gym for both faculty and students to maintain their health. A separate health center, equipped with measuring instruments for blood pressure, height, and weight, provides first aid treatment. Regular health camps, including eye and dental camps, are conducted. The NSS units and Physical Education departments actively contribute to health initiatives.

Women’s Hostel Facility

The college offers accommodation with computer facilities, internet access, medical emergency provisions, library facilities, internet/Wi-Fi access, recreational spaces with audio-visual equipment, and a gymnasium in the women's hostels.  Additionally, there is a residential facility for staff with a constant supply of safe drinking water and security measures in place.
