Hindu College of Engineering offers the 4-year full-time B.Tech course in 7 specializations. The minimum eligibility is 10+2/ HSC or its equivalent qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject any one of these as an optional subject from a recognized Board/ University.
Admission of the candidates into B.Tech course is done on the basis of inter-se-merit of JEE Main. Candidates are admitted through online off-campus counselling sessions conducted by Haryana State Technical Education Society. Two rounds of counselling are conducted for the applicants against the 50% seats of the college. First and second counselling is conducted for All India Category, Haryana Open General Category, Kashmiri Migrant, Tuition Fee Waiver, Scheduled Caste, Backward Caste A-B, Physically Handicapped, Ex-serviceman and their ward, Freedom Fighters of all categories with 25% female reservation.
Admission after the second counselling is given through the institutional level counselling for remaining 50% of the sanctioned seats (including 25% seats of management quota and 15% seats for wards of NRI’s) on the basis of JEE Main merit and marks secured in the qualifying examination.
