Hitkarini College of Engineering and Technology has a fully-fledged Training Wing and a Placement Wing taking care of Training and Placement activities separately. Both the Training Wing and Placement Wing together provide comprehensive job listings, career counseling & training on industrial trends to students of the college. This cell actively takes care of the placement of final-year students as well as the vocational training of 2nd and 3rd-year students. The cell organizes various programs such as personality development programs and technical seminars and discusses with field experts to improve the knowledge of students. Training and placement cell constantly interacts with the corporate world in order to get the feedback needed to enhance the teaching methodology to establish more productive relationships with students. The goal of this cell is the overall development of students and to increase their self-reliance.

A seminar on Career Opportunities in the Defense sector for Engineers was conducted at HCET. The entire session was headed by the Guest Speaker Retired. Brigadier Mr. Vipin Trivedi explained the various job opportunities present in all three wings of Defense services for Boys and Girls who are willing to make their careers in the armed forces. Apart from that he also enlighten the students about the 1971 Indo-Pak war in this golden year celebration.
