For the Diploma in Radiation Medicine, candidates must possess an MBBS degree with a minimum of 50% marks, while applicants with a B.E/B. HBNI's Ph.D. Admission for 2024 involves an interview process for applicants who have been shortlisted based on a written screening examination approved by the Academic Council. Additionally, students have the option to apply for the Integrated Ph.D. program, offering a dual degree (M.Sc and Ph.D.).
For the Integrated courses, candidates must possess a graduation degree, while for the Regular Ph.D. program, applicants should hold a Master’s degree in the relevant disciplines, with a minimum requirement of 60% marks in the qualifying degree.
Candidates with an M.Sc or equivalent degree, demonstrating an aptitude for research in Engineering, may also be considered for admission to the Ph.D. (Engineering Science) program. Similarly, candidates with a B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent degree, showing aptitude for research in Science & Mathematics, may be considered for admission to the Ph.D. (Chemical Science and Mathematics) program.
Moreover, SC/ST candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation in the qualifying degree criteria.
