Admission Process for ICBM School of Business Excellence (ICBM-SBE), Hyderabad

Eligibility Criteria for Admission ICBM-SBE

To be eligible for admission to ICBM-SBE, Hyderabad, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.

• Entrance Exams: Candidates must qualify in one of the following entrance exams:

• CAT: Common Admission Test

• XAT: Xavier Aptitude Test

• GMAT: Graduate Management Admission Test

• MAT: Management Aptitude Test

• CMAT: Common Management Admission Test

• Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity is required for admission to the Executive MBA program.

PGDM First Year

The first two Trimesters are the same for all the streams. Students will be developing skills in different disciplines & functions of business management. As a part of the first-year PGDM course curriculum, students will be equipped with skills in Management and Organizational Behaviour, Economics, Financial Accounting and analysis, Financial Management, Business Analytics, Strategic Management, and other areas.

In the third Trimester, students need to select their desired stream & specialization. They need to submit a Mini Project at the end of the third Trimester.

PGDM Second Year

1. Students will be selecting their second specialization in the fifth trimester. They need to submit their Management Research Project at the end of the sixth Trimester in the concerned Specialization. In the sixth Trimester, the candidate has to appear for two papers on Project Management and Project Report with Viva.
   
   
2. The course curriculum in the second year comprises a mix of compulsory courses and electives in the specialization areas.

Admission process & eligibility

ICBM-SBE offers two years of full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program which is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), with Triple Specialization To PGDM Students.

Eligibility criteria

1. The admissions process in the ICBM-SBE PGDM Program shall be made only for the candidates who have successfully cleared any of the six All India Tests i.e.; CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, GMAT, or state-level entrance examination, if any conducted by the respective State Government. Candidates shall be shortlisted based on the overall rank computed taking into account the following components and their weights:
   
   
2. Score in the Common Admission Test (CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, GMAT) -35 to 60%. The score for academic performance in X Std., XII Std., Under Graduate Degree/Post Graduate Degree - 5 to 25%. Group discussion/interview - 20 to 45%. Weightage for participation in Sports, Extra-curricular activities, Academic diversity, and Gender diversity – 5 to 20%.
   
   
3. Any Graduation With 50% And More No Entrance Test Required As Per AICTE Norms

Selection process

Once your application is selected, you have to appear for a group discussion and an interview process. Candidates who successfully clear our selection process will be selected for our PGDM course.
