Candidates may be admitted under the merit quota if they have passed the Kerala Higher Secondary Examination or examinations recognised as equivalent thereto, with 50% of their marks in mathematics separately and 50% of their marks in mathematics, physics, and chemistry combined. Nonetheless, students who have passed Kerala's higher secondary exams or exams acknowledged as equivalent thereto and obtained a combined total of 45% in maths, physics, and chemistry are qualified for admission under the management quota in privately funded engineering colleges. 40% of the marks are eligible for SC, ST, and OBC candidates.
The applicant needs to have earned a recognized board certification for level 10.
