Nonetheless, students who have passed Kerala's higher secondary exams or exams acknowledged as equivalent thereto and obtained a combined total of 45% in maths, physics, and chemistry are qualified for admission under the management quota in privately funded engineering colleges. 40% of the marks are eligible for SC, ST, and OBC candidates.
