• For B.Tech programs, Students are admitted through the merit in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) followed by a state level counselling. The exam is held in the third week of April and the results are generally announced in the next month.

• 70% seats are reserved seats and 30% seats are considered as open seats.

• 50% of the reserved seats (Out of total 70%) belong to the reserved categories as notified by the Government of India.

• Out of the remaining seats, 10% are reserved for Girls, 5% for the Armed Forces, 5% for the Physically Handicapped, and 5% for Freedom Fighter Quota.

• Out of the total seats, 15% seats are reserved for the Management Quota.

• NATA or UPSEE qualified candidates will be considered for B.Arch admissions.

• MCA admissions are offered on the basis of UPSEE or National Institute of Technology MCA Entrance Test (NIMCET).

• MBA admissions are offered on the basis of marks in any graduation degree along with a valid score in UPSEE/ CMAT/ XAT/ MAT or any other National Level Exam.

Ideal Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad offers B.Tech and B.Arch programs in various specializations. To apply for the B.Tech program, candidates need to pass 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized Board with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) in Physics, Math and Chemistry/ Drawing/ Biology together. However, they need to hold a valid score in JEE Main or UPSEE.

The vacant seats in B.Tech courses after UPSEE counselling for Lateral Entry (second Year) will be filled within 15 days of the last date of counselling at the institute level, initially, by the qualified candidate of UPSEE.

Thereafter, the vacant seats, if any, will be filled on academic merit by such candidates who have passed the qualifying examination securing minimum 60%( 55% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate without any grace marks

The relative merit will be decided based on an aggregate of marks in graduation under 10+2+3 pattern with 50% marks and Math at 10+2 level with a valid UPSEE NIMCET score.
