B.Tech Admissions are available at IIIT Allahabad, candidates are required to sit the for JEE Main examination and also participate in the JoSAA counseling process to determine the final allocation of seats. IIIT Allahabad charges INR 1.65 Lakhs annually for its B.Tech program.
IIIT Allahabad admission process involves other national level tests too like GATE, and CAT to select the appropriate programs like M.Tech and MBA respectively.
IIIT Allahabad offers B.Tech programs in three specializations, each of them segregated into eight seme stars. Ta, there is a provision for direct admission to B. Tech programs under DASA for students who have completed their last qualifying exam abroad.
Aspirants who wish to join the B.Tech program are required to complete their 10+2 board examination with PCM from a recognized institute.
Candidates must at least score a minimum of 50% marks in their examination.
For SC/ST students, there a is 10% relaxation in the minimum required percentile of qualifying marks in the 12th class examination.
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will regulate the seat allocation
With a valid JEE Main or equivalent entrance examination score, a merit list shall be made category-wise, listing the All India Rank (AIR) of candidates.
Based on the rank secured, candidates are required to appear in JoSAA Counselling rounds as per their category.
The institute offers M.Tech in 10 specializations and an M.Tech (Research) program for its students. The institute also offers a B.Tech + M.Tech program. Postgraduate students are required to complete coursework in addition to a thesis or dissertation that entails independent research under the guidance of a faculty.

For the M.Tech Program, candidates will have to participate through CCMT Counselling. They need to register at the official CCMT website

Start entering the desired choices. Add the choices in decreasing order of preference and lock them.
With the rounds of counseling, seats will be allotted. Candidates need to download the allotment letter and report to the institute. They must carry the original documents with them on the day of admission.
The institute offers a full-time MBA program for two years. Admission is done based on the CAT score followed by the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.
Eligibility for the program bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 65% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/PD) from a recognized university.
Candidates must also have a valid CAT score to be eligible and be shortlisted for the program. A score of 85+ percentile is preferred as the minimum score for shortlisting candidates Final-year year students who are awaiting or will be completing their graduation can also apply for the program.
Once the notification has been released, candidates can fill out the application form entering all the information including CAT score and registration details.
Upon being shortlisted (based on CAT scores), they need to report to the institute for PII rounds, scheduled as mentioned in the intimation letter mailed to each shortlisted candidate
BGD-PIon GD PI rounds’ performance, past academic performance, NC and CAT score, and the final list of selected students shall be released on the website as well as personally informed via Email to each selected student.
The Institute of Ph.D. programs in 5 major research was the duration for a full-time Ph.D. program of 3-5 years and the duration for a part-time Ph.D. program of 4-5 years. The admission is done based on merit. The application can be done by the online portal method.

For Candidates with M.Sc./ MCA Backgrounds – GATE score (not more than 4 years old) or UGC/ CSIR NET or JRF/ INSPIRE Qualified Candidates for JRF purposes are required
For Candidates with MBA/ M.Com. Background CAT qualification or GMAT score (not more than 4 years old) or UGC/ CSIR NET or JRF Qualified Candidates are required.
Candidates who have got abocut-offcut off will be called for an interview session, automatically for the first immediate year.
CSIR or CBSE NET/JRF qualified candidates will be exempted from the entrance examination.
IIIT Allahabad offers a five-year dual degree program at the UG and PG levels in various specializations. On successful completion of the program, students are awarded two degrees, one in the parent course they choose at the time of admission and the other one in an upper-level course in which they choose to continue the course for the dual degree. Admissions to all the dual degree programs are purely based on an entrance examination followed by a central counseling process.
