IIM Sambalpur ExMBA Selection Criteria

• Candidates are selected for the personal interview based on their eligibility and the information furnished during the application process. During the interview, the panel assesses applicants primarily on the content of their Statement of Purpose (SOP), in addition to considering factors such as academic achievements, professional accomplishments, and other relevant qualifications. The ultimate merit list is compiled, taking into account the candidate's performance in the Personal Interview, Academic Qualifications, Relevant Work Experience, and the content of their Statement of Purpose (SOP).
  

IIM Sambalpur ExMBA Admission: How to Apply?

Individuals interested in applying for the ExMBA program can register through the designated link:  and are required to submit a non-refundable application fee.

The necessary supporting documents to be submitted along with the application form include:

Passport size photograph

Copies of Master’s degree/Bachelor’s degree mark sheets and certificates

Government-issued identity proof

Copies of 10th and 12th-grade mark sheets and certificates

Certificates validating relevant work experience

No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer

NEFT/RTGS transaction slip confirming the Application Fee payment

Copy of Caste and Disability Certificate (if applicable)

The candidates who wish to apply for the PhD program at IIM Sambalpur should fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

Education

• Master’s degree with 60% marks 
• Postgraduate Diploma from IITs/ IIMs/ Other reputed Universities with 60% marks 
• Bachelor’s degree with a professional qualification like CA, ICWS, CS with 60% marks
• Integrated Masters degree with 60% marks
• 4-year bachelor’s degree with 6.5 CGPA

Entrance Exam

• The applicants will have to appear for CAT/ GRE/GATE/GMAT/JRF (UGC/CSIR), taken during the last 2 years OR Research Aptitude Test (IIMSAT) at IIM Sambalpur.
• Those who have already passed a 2-year PGP/ MBA with a 6.0 CGPA are exempted from the exams mentioned above.

Age Limit

The candidates should not be more than 40 years of age.
