The Indian Institute of Teacher Education (IITE) employs a distinct admission procedure for various classes to facilitate the admission of eligible students. Prospective students must fulfill the institution's admission requirements to secure admission to the university.
For B.Ed integrated programs, the admissions procedure typically transpires between May and June each year. Eligible candidates need to successfully pass the Pre-Entry Exam for Potential Teachers (PTPT). Subsequently, selected candidates are required to participate in the Profession Entry Test (PET), both of which are conducted by IITE.
PhD programs:
The university conducts an entrance test as part of the doctoral program admission process. This objective test comprises multiple-choice questions related to the respective subject. The NET/JRF entrance exam is administered for the school, and the university publishes a merit list based on students' performance in the entrance test.
