Residential Accommodations:

There are 11 boys’ hostels and girls’ hostels for accommodating college students with their personal character rooms. The lodging is single-seater. These hostels are geared up with all present-day amenities. Each of those hostels has its personal mess, canteen, desk-bound shop, juice center, pantry, indoor video games centers, gymnasium, song rooms, library, TV room, and laundry room among many different centers with uninterrupted electricity supply. High-velocity LAN connections are furnished in each room. Facilities for outdoor games like volleyball, basketball, and soccer also are there. All the scholars of the Institute were furnished with hostel rooms withinside the campus.

Auditorium:

an auditorium of 1500 capacity with state of a art sound system, a smaller mini-auditorium and a conference complex having four conference halls provide space for teaching and holding various events/programs.

Medical Facilities:

The IIT Guwahati Hospital is located inside the scenic IIT Guwahati campus .It had started functioning from the present building in March 2006. The present area of the hospital is 20,000sq.ft.Hospital has 24 hrs. Doctor, Nursing, Emergency service for its patients provided by in-house and outsourced hospital service providers.

Sports Facilities:

The Sports Complex comprising of an indoor sports activities stadium with artificial badminton, table tennis, and squash courts, a fitness center and the Students Gymkhana office, an eight-lane 50 m lengthy swimming pool, and flood-lit gambling fields for all principal outdoor games offer sufficient scope of pastime for the campus residents.
