Admission is based on entrance exams that are conducted by the university. However, the admission criteria are both merit-based as well as entrance-based, depending on the courses.
IIT Indore BTech Admission 2024
IIT Indore offers a 4-year BTech program in nine specializations. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and possess a valid JEE Advanced score can apply for admission. Additionally, IIT Indore provides a 5-year integrated BTech + MTech course in four specializations. Students enrolled in the BTech program at IIT Indore become eligible for this integrated course after completing the 6th semester.

IIT Indore MTech & MS Admissions 2024
IIT Indore offers an MTech program in 13 specializations, ranging from VLSI Design & Nanoelectronics to Defence Technology. Admission to this program is based on a valid GATE score. IIT Indore offers an MSc program in five specializations: Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biotechnology, and Astronomy. IIT Indore PhD Admission 2024
IIT Indore provides a PhD program in six categories for Indian students: FA (Fellowship Awardee), TA (Teaching Assistantship), SW (Sponsored without Institute Sponsorship), IS (Institute Staff), DF (Defence Forces), and CT (College Teacher). Candidates with a master’s degree in the relevant discipline are eligible to apply. Final admission is determined by the entrance exam score, followed by an interview, Statement of Purpose (SOP), and Letter of Recommendation (LOR) submitted by the candidate.
