IIMR, Indore Integrated Library Management Systems (ILMS) are used to partially automate the IIMR Library. Since the academic year 2020–21, library books can be searched using the ILMS software CMS 2.0 by the author's surname, title, ISBN, accession number, publisher name, etc. Before this, the IIMR Library used SERO SOFT ERP from January 12, 2018, to January 17, 2020. It has enough textbooks, reference books, books on social welfare, and national and international journals/periodicals to meet the AICTE's requirements and the university's curriculum. Numerous literature, biographies, employment news, daily newspapers (in English and Hindi), and e-resources through the INFLIBNET N LIST Program (under E-ShodhSindhu) are made available to students based on their reading preferences. The library has a reading hall with a capacity of 494 square meters of space.
Access to the Internet and modern IT infrastructure are essential for realizing the future vision, and demand is rising on college campuses. The Indore Institute of Management and Research (IIMR) provides a range of options, high-quality educational resources, and expanding chances for studying outside of the traditional classroom. With this in mind, the institute offers the staff and students a campus-wide wired or Wi-Fi network that is secure and reliable.
The institution is well-equipped with wired and wireless internet connection, which is available in all living areas, including the classrooms, library, labs, hallways, auditoriums, and seminar rooms.
To fully benefit from Internet-enabled learning, teachers and students need an effective ICT infrastructure. These have dependable electric power supply and are regularly upgraded, well-maintained, and cyber-secure.
Labs- IIMR, Indore has dedicated 3 computer labs with computers in different departments of Intel-i3, Intel G645, Intel Core 2 Duo, and Intel P-D processors, with 567 Windows Licensed software for the latest Configuration of hardware and versions of software are up to the mark and as per the specification of affiliating body.
High-Speed Internet Facility– The institute has its internet leased line bandwidth of 250 Mbps on the entire campus.
Firewall- IIMR, Indore Campus has secured an Internet UTM Hardware Firewall for considering various web security aspects (Like Web Filtering, Intrusion Protection, Deep Packet Inspection, and Advanced Threat Protection).
LCD Projector – The institute has LCD projectors in each Classroom, Lab, Seminar hall, and Auditorium.
Software – Genuine Windows licenses, Microsoft Office 365 standard, and professional editions for departments are available. We also
use open-source operating systems such as Fedora, Ubuntu, and CentOS. All Windows systems are protected with security endpoint security Antivirus.
Wi-Fi: Extendable Wi-Fi access points are placed in various places like Library, corridors, Labs, hostels, Canteen, and outdoor. Wi-Fi access is provided to all the students which is monitored by the firewall at the Centralized IT department for secure content access.
The institute features two auditoriums (distributed over an area of 11,500 sq ft) with a seating capacity of 100–220 students, three seminar halls/conference halls that are appropriately spacious and well-furnished, and more. The lecture rooms, which are designed like theaters, come with a projector, an audio system, and amplifiers. The lecture rooms and auditorium are used as a location for a variety of events all year long. These are places where some of the exciting concerts put on by various student organizations have taken place. Even though they may have ended their adventure with IIMR, they remain in students' memories.
It is therefore not surprising that they are among the most crucial elements of the institution and that they are given the utmost attention and care.
Additionally, IIMR offers Smart Technology-Enhanced Classrooms, which enhance teaching and learning opportunities by incorporating educational technology including PCs, specialized software, auditory response technology, assistive listening devices, networking, and audio/visual capabilities.
IIMR, Indore Institute is very fortunate to have a huge, fully-stocked, multi-cuisine canteen right amid the academic buildings. The ultra-modern kitchen is outfitted with the most up-to-date tools for serving wholesome, sanitary cuisine. The canteen operates on a contract basis, with outside caterers providing high-quality food to students, staff, faculty, and guests at a reasonable price under the direction of a menu committee and in conjunction with the hostel managers. We offer a wide variety of wholesome, hygienic cuisines that satisfy the needs of students from all over the nation by providing them with filling, cozy meals without sacrificing the highest standards of quality. Institute is leading a green wave effort to protect the environment, and as part of this, we also emphasize organic farming of vegetables and grains to meet our customers' needs.
Healthy, nourishing food and a variety of options are available to the hostel students. The kitchens are hygienically operated and adhere to the prescribed food standards where food is served as early as 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
IIMR, Indore provides top-class hostel facilities to its students. It has separate arrangements for boys and girls with both the hostels having a capacity of more than 250 students. Each room is shared on a twin/triple basis and is equipped with modern amenities as well as an attached bath and toilet.
The Indore Institute of Management and Research has been operating since 2012; the IIMR Alumni Association was formally established on July 28, 2022, and the Alumni Cell was established in 2018. The IIMR maintains a continuous relationship with its alumni. The Alumni Association / Cell aims to strengthen links between alumni, help students, and create an exceptional Institute experience through a variety of events, programming, and services. Building a network that will enable graduates to stay active with their alma mater and determine its future through the Association's programs and services is the aim of the Association. Its other goals include keeping alumni informed and strengthening links between alumni, students, and the Institute. One of the simplest ways to stay in touch is to join the IIMR Alumni Association.
