The Training and Placement Department came into existence in the year 2006. It was initially associated with the Indus Institute of Technology & Engineering and later became a part of the Indus University from 2012 onwards.
The training and placement department is the epicenter for career guidance to students of all programs and streams pursuing their studies at the University. It offers overall career solutions to the students by guiding them to decide and pursue their dream careers.

On August 23 & 24,2023, Indus Institute of Management Studies (IIMS) organized an Industrial Visit at the Amul Dairy Plant & Amul Chocolate Plant at Anand, Gujarat. A total of 60 students of IMBA with Two Faculty Members participated in the visit. The Amul Anand Industrial Visit was a transformative experience that allowed students to delve into the world of dairy production, cooperative efforts, and technological advancements. Beyond learning, it invoked a sense of gratitude towards Amul for being a beacon of education and inspiration. The lessons learned and memories created during this visit will undoubtedly shape the students' outlook on both their academic journey and life as a whole.
