The T&PL Cell fosters industrial-university collaboration by organizing and coordinating regular visits to industrial sites, in-house training, and industrial-related projects. In the past years, the cell has organized placement opportunities in over 100 companies and has nearly 40 such opportunities lined up for the upcoming year. Students are advised by the departments regarding the various job prospects available to them. At present, the cell is staffed by a team of experienced faculty who provide ongoing training to the students in accordance with the requirements of the batch. Specific training programs are organized and implemented to provide employability training tailored to the company.

Over the years, companies such as Infosys, HCL, ICICI Lombard, the Indian Armed Forces (Army, Navy, and Air Force), HDFC Life, Johnson & Johnson, R Systems, Manhattan Associates, HDFC Bank, and several others have been part of placements at Mangalayatan University.
